The OK program partnered with Auto Plus Towing to deliver the 2015 Mazda to Denzel. "We put tires, serviced it, painted it, cleaned it. Whatever it needed," said Auto Plus Towing Owner Donnie Robinson.
Both groups hope this car will be a way to pay it forward and help the young man who's off to college next fall with a wrestling scholarship.
The program teaches the boys tools they need to become successful men and it builds relationships some thought they'd never experience.
Researchers have found after 18 months with a mentor, children were 65 percent more likely to obtain a higher level of education than they thought was possible. Davis said over the years 18 OK Program boys have gone on to graduate from local colleges.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) Statistics show that young boys who grow up without a positive male role model in their life are more likely to resort to violence and live in poverty, and those numbers are hitting the African American community the hardest. Around 75% of all African American households are run by a single mother.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The OK (Our Kids) Program wants to change relationships between law enforcement and the African American community. They plan to create solutions at a Black and Blue event happening Saturday.
Urban centers throughout the country continue to see the huge benefits of partnering with the OK Program as new chapters have been launched in Indianapolis, Indiana, Conyers Georgia, located in Rockdale County, about 23 miles east of Atlanta, and Kansas City, Missouri.
